Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and RAM Release March Sales Results
FCA US LLC recently announced United States sales results for March 2017 that showed the company sold 190,254 over the course of the month. The performance is an expected result of the company's commitment to reduce its volume of fleet sales for the daily rental business.
The most-awarded minivan for both 2016 and 2017, the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica saw sales increase 3 percent over February 2017 results. This means that March was the third consecutive month where Pacifica's sales increased year-over-year, and it also resulted in the model's best sales month so far this year.
The luxurious and capable Jeep Grand Cherokee turned In the vehicle's best 2017 sales month, with sales rising 22 percent.
Four Dodge models registered year-over-year sales increases last month, driving the marque to a 10 percent improvement for the month. The Journey crossover saw sales balloon an impressive 100 percent, while sales for the muscular Challenger grew 17 percent compared to last year. The Dodge Viper and Dodge Grand Caravan minivan also delivered sales increases when compared to March 2016 results.
RAM pickup trucks and vans produced a 6 percent gain over sales from March 2016, a result that was supported by RAM ProMaster van sales growing 24 percent.
