Ram to Give Kentucky Derby Winning Trainer a Special Edition Ram 2500 Truck
For the eighth year, Ram is the official automotive sponsor of Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby. To commemorate the relationship, Ram is going to award a one-of-a-kind special 143rd Kentucky Derby edition Ram 2500 Limited truck to the trainer of the horse that wins the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 6.
The special truck will feature a Brilliant Black exterior with blue Kentucky Derby 143rd logos on the rear panels and a hand-painted rose badge on the front grille.
Ram will also deliver an immersive Ram Truck experience all weekend long, starting on Friday morning when a Ram ProMaster vans will transport traditional Kentucky Oaks "Lilies Garland" to the track. Saturday morning, a Ram ProMaster van will deliver the traditional Kentucky Derby "Roses Garland" to the racetrack. The weekend will also include themed truck displays and giveaway items all over the racetrack grounds, allowing fans to take souvenir pictures.
